Placing the Patterns

Placing the Patterns Correctly

Placing the patterns correctly is very important. Here's how  to place the arms and legs.

The illustration on the top is showing a line in the center. This is where you start when you are create the rear or hind for the legs.

The illustration in the middle is showing a line alongside the center line. This is done because in most dinosaurs, the front legs an arms are much smaller and need to be place closer to the belly.

The illustration at the bottom is showing a series of circles, this is how you draw the neck and tail.

  1. Neck: Think of a series of ovals, don't forget to start in the center line.
  2. Tail: The ovals get smaller as you get to the tip of the tail.
